WHO WE ARE 

Founded in September 2022, HWI is a prominent voice for young women and girls.

We are a young women-led nonprofit organization committed to advancing workplace equity and empowering the next generation of young women leaders. Through skills development, advocacy, and mentorship, we equip young women to lead with confidence and drive positive change in their workplaces and communities.

We work in close collaboration with partners, donors, and local stakeholders to create inclusive spaces and promote gender equality and ensure that every young woman has the opportunity to grow, lead, and thrive across Africa.

MISSION

To empower young women through leadership development, vocational training, and advocacy, promoting workplace equity and gender inclusion while creating a safe space for young women to share their stories.

GOAL 

Our goal is to organize young women into dynamic groups and strengthen their capacities through targeted education, mentorship, and support. By equipping them with tools and confidence to lead, we aim to empower them as transformative change agents who champion sustainable development in their workplaces and communities.

Our work is grounded in the building confidence, voice, and agency among young women and girls, equipping them with the skills and opportunities  to lead with purpose, courage, and integrity

We are committed to transparency, responsibility, and ethical stewardship of resources entrusted to us. We hold ourselves accountable to the young women and girls we serve, our partners, and our donors by measuring impact, sharing results, and continuously improving our work.
